Description
A rectangular copper box with repousee sunflower decoration to top and front, having hinged lid with hand-forged rattail iron handle, rivetting to corners and scrolled iron feet. Originally for coal, and now useful for kindling next to a fireplace. A highly stylized Arts & Crafts piece. England, circa 1860.
