Description
A classic windsor armchair with a high hooped back formed of a continuous bent ash rail fixed with spindles to another continuous bent rail for the arms over an elm seat on turned legs joined by an H-shaped stretcher. This chair features the rare feature of a bold star to the backsplat. English, circa 1830.
