A rare set of four Anglo-Indian chairs of Regency form in solid ebony, with continuous shaped supports to the back extending down to the legs, intricately pierced foliate carved back supports, tapered square seats with apron carving, and raised on carved and fluted front legs. In old faux tiger upholstery. India, circa 1840.
