Very fine Regency period dining table, the circular top in well figured mahogany, having wide mahogany banding and ribbed edge over turned mahogany pedestal with ebonized rings and standing on bronze mounted and saber legs having incised ebonized scroll and roundel decoration, the whole in highly figured and well patinated mahogany. The chased brass toe caps of unique design are very nicely integrated by the maker, and the table is exceptionally well drawn and conceived.

circa 1815

Good. Slight cupping to ends of the top (about 1/4") and having a 1 1/4" circular patch to center of top and underside and base (possibly drilled through?) but well restored. Two later struts applied to underside as additional bracing.
