Description
An early 19th century British colonial powder horn of massive scale (“carried either for an entire battalion, or for an incredibly bad shot”) used to hold gunpowder, with hand-carved fluted collar decoration and carved pouring spout, and retaining its original leather carrying strap. Good color and a rare intact survivor.
