A coffee table with a fine 19th century Italian, probably Florentine, scagliola top, depicting a central polychrome image of Pan in a bucolic riparian setting, entwined with flowering branches, including cherries, with marbled shapes at the compass points, all on a black ground. The top sits on a custom-made cast bronze base in the manner of Alberto Giacometti, featuring patinated legs with ring turnings joined by an X stretcher.
