Description
A 19th century Iberian colonial oil on canvas painting of Mary as the lady of the mountain. A very pleasing and beautiful depiction of the Madonna with a golden halo and dresed in luxurious robes flanked by a palm tree and cypress in a coastal scene with a square sailed ship in the background, with a symbolic rose, fountain and tower building. Sold unframed but on a rigid wooden stretcher.
