Description
A fine serpentine faded rosewood two door commode in the manner of Thomas Chippendale, the top banded and inlaid with satinwood starbursts at the two front corners, supported by cluster columns flanking the doors, the doors having banded panels bordered with astragals with inset corners, the corners inverted and inlaid with satinwood starbursts at each corner resting on a plinth base. The interior holds four open drawers. Ex-collection, Vernay & Jussel. England, circa 1770.
