Contact Yew Tree House at (212) 249-6612.
Very good Mid-19th Century painted wooden trade sign from the premises of W.T. Holt, Confectioner, the single plank sign lettered in three dimensional blocked figures piqued in gold and in very graphic type on a powdery blue ground. From a very good New England collection of folk art. There was a confectioner on Market Street in Philadelphia named William Holt in 1863, but no record of his middle name or initial could be found.
