Georgian Campaign Settee
Contact Yew Tree House at (212) 249-6612.
Rare George III period mahogany Campaign settle, the square back flanked by shaped arms, the seat supported by turned and fluted front legs and sweeping back legs, all on brass casters, the back and side panels held in place with wrought iron threaded bolts, which can be removed and flat packed (between the fixed legs). While made as a functional piece of furniture to provide comfort and elegance under canvas, today it remains equally stylish and comfortable while telling an interesting story of past glories.
