Rare and Fine Neoclassical burlwood bookcase cabinet, the glazed upper section with three bronze stars on the cornice, over central fitted drawer, the enclosed cabinet with four drawers, standing on ebonized paw feet, the front in highly figured burr ash veneer, the sides birch, the secondary woods are ash and eastern white pine, indicating a likely North American origin, though the design is more closely linked to Regency makers such as George Bullock.

Very good original condition, two small patches to veneer, interior hardware original and retaining most fire gilding, outer drawer pulls replaced but of the period.
