​Very fine George I period gilt wood mirror, the prince of Wales plume carved crest surmounted with boldly scrolled wings with foliate carving, the shaped plate with deeply molded and carved frame having arabesque carving, the sides with deep scrolls and whirls, the lower portion having flower and vine relief carved details, the whole in richly burnished gilding. The frame carved much in the manner of John Belchier.
